The Story Behind Lakes Hemp Company
Locally grown hemp, oil processing, product manufacturing and team. Your purchase puts the money back into our community.

The story begins in 2018 when I was frustrated with failed medical treatments for injuries from 1994. Hemp and CBD were not yet readily available or federally legal. I stumbled across CBD on my travels and tried the product. Within 5 minutes my muscle spasms stopped and my low back self adjusted. My back had locked up and the chiropractor could not manually adjust my spine, I was discharged from physical therapy and this was the first time in years I had any relief. The winter of 2018 I was approved for the MN Hemp pilot program and was one of the first to hold a hemp growers and processors license. Our first crop was the top crop of 2019 according to the state inspectors. Our farm is located in Lent TWP between North Branch, Stacy and Chisago, MN. I wanted to share this gift nature provided us and in 2021 I partnered with a local retail professional and we opened Lakes Hemp Co. to provide an outlet for our amazing products. We know first hand where the plant was grown, how it was grown and the quality of our products. Enjoy the pictures of our farm.
